attitude adjustment (or THP: Chapter Eleven)

Gretchen’s last month of resolutions, November, focused on her attitude instead of actions. (I know what you’re thinking–what about December?  Shouldn’t THAT be her last month of resolutions?  Spoiler alert: she attempts to follow ALL of them in December!)

Gretchen recognized that she struggled with having a ‘contented heart,’ and I admit that I have trouble with contentment as well. While sometimes not being content can be beneficial (think self-improvement or seeking opportunities for change), overall discontentment can be draining to oneself and others. makin’ room for baby

After almost six months (!!!), our baby girl’s room is finally finished.  (If you’re in my inner circle, you know the struggle that this room has been, and I’m sure you’re tired of hearing the words “recessed lighting” come out of my mouth!)  As usual, Andrew’s wildly ambitious plans have come to fruition and the result is better than I ever thought possible.  And with two weeks to spare… Continue reading “makin’ room for baby”
