spread a little love (or, THP: Chapter Two)

I’ve been taking my sweet time reading through The Happiness Project, and my note-taking has finally caught-up to my progress in the book.  Last time, I wrote about how much I liked Chapter One, about boosting your energy.  I’m still not going to bed earlier, but I feel like all the principles Gretchen mentions are on repeat in my brain.  After I return from my weekend trip in a few days, I’ll be itching to start on my list of nagging tasks and our porch project! high energy (or, THP: Chapter One)

I think Gretchen’s first chapter, about ‘boosting her energy,’ is my favorite so far.  In fact, I’m willing to bet it might remain my favorite throughout the entire book.  (I’m only five chapters in, but as it contains bits about exercise AND organization, I’m pretty confidant.) happy is as happy does

I’ve been reading Gretchen Rubin’s The Happiness Project (I know, I’m a little late to the party), and after only a few chapters two things stood out to me:

1.) I’m fairly certain Gretchen and I were separated at birth and/or we could be very close friends.  Every word on those pages sounds and feels like it could come from my own mouth.

2.) Everyone should read this book.  EVERYONE.
