the best sweatbands EVER

They’re called BondiBands and they might be the best inventions in dripping-sweat prevention.  I sweat.  A LOT.  I look around in class and see other chicks barely glistening and I think, “What the heck?”  After a run recently, I came back to the room and was able to actually SQUEEZE water (a.k.a. sweat) out of it into the sink!

The problem is, I have incredibly fine hair.  With no body.  And somewhat of a cone-shaped head.  So, everything I’ve ever put on my head in terms of headbands just pops right off the back.  Sometimes within seconds.  These have stayed-put through six-plus mile runs and hour-long kickboxing classes.

I saw these on OpenSky a couple weeks ago and was really intrigued.  However, I didn’t like any of the combos they offered to get the deal, so I decided to go straight to the source.  I’m so glad I did.

The lighting for this picture is terrible; the top one is a bright magenta and the bottom is a bright purple.  I love the bright colors, and they have TONS of motifs/patterns/logos and sayings to choose from.  You can pick a design and then choose your color.  I think I love them.  In fact, I got a coupon for a few more, so I’m contemplating another order.  Black would be nice, and I do work out every day….

  1. Stumbled upon your blog. Love. I am glad I am not the only one who sweats like a banshee! After my run last Sat., I too squeezed all the sweat out of my hair and my fingers were wrinkley from sweating so much. Very Sexy.
I think I might have to purchase one of these headbands and STAT!

  2. Been running for a year. Just started using a headband after my hat got salty ring on it…I was using an 80s style terrycloth band…it was embarassing..just gont one of the bondibands….amazing! Thanks!

  3. Just ordered some. I am so glad to know I am not the only woman who literally is DRIPPING at the end of a good workout. Sheesh!

  4. I want you to know how helpful your review of the headbands was! I have purchased several that give me a headache, and resort to a couple of fashion macramé bands that don’t absorb nearly enough sweat and are rather ridiculous and only better than nothing! I’ve avoided making more “bad purchases” I just ordered 3 of the bondibands and can’t wait to LOVE THEM!
