If January was our busiest month yet, February has to have been our most stressful. For real. (Harder than IVF, I swear.) To be quite honest, we’re a week into March and I don’t think I’ve recovered yet. And to be fair, we (and by ‘we’ I mostly mean ME) are going through A LOT. In the span of about two weeks, we packed up our entire downstairs, moved into Andrew’s parents’ house and then Andrew had ACL surgery. All three of those things are hard. All three of them at the SAME TIME has been a bit nuts. However, I’m trying to remember what M is for Mama says: Hard is Not the Same Thing as Bad.

I’ve really been enjoying these lazy winter weekends at home. I don’t know if it’s COVID, or a having a toddler, or just slowing the heck down, but I like having nothing to do and nowhere to go. (OK, there are lots of things we could be doing around the house, but you know what I mean.)
