Marching in like a lion

I’m not sure we went out like a lamb (maybe a rabbit?), but March certainly felt BIG and LOUD. Lots of big things happening at the house, lots to keep us busy, and a week with our cousins here that was very LOUD.

bunnies everywhere! (Easter weekend in ALX)

Just like we did last year, Maelle and I joined Andrew on a work trip to Alexandria before spending Easter with my parents at their house. Clearly, I should have read last year’s post, as it likely would have deterred us from going to the Smithsonian–again–on a holiday weekend. (Although, is there EVER a time it’s not busy?!)

house project: our closet dormer

Another scope of our project that seemed to drop on and off the architectural plans was the dormer and window in our master closet. It’s one of the things we first asked for when we met with the architect, and I’m so glad we kept it. Putting a window in ones’ closet seems likes such a small thing, but it has opened up the space so much already.
