While we were in Paris, not much happened at the house. Our cabinet guy–who we love–was a bit behind schedule (what can I say? He got POPULAR), so it made sense to wait until the week we got back to start installing the cabinets.

house project: slow (but BIG) changes
Since we returned from London, our project feels like it’s crept along at a snails’ pace. In some ways, that’s true; our cabinet guy was running behind schedule, so work slowed down a bit at the house. However, it also gave us the opportunity to save some money and install the wood floor ourselves. (A double-edged sword if ever there was one!)

Just before we left on our London trip, our drywall was up. It’s definitely starting to look a bit more finished. Wall aren’t see-thru anymore, and you can really start imagining the rooms the way they’ll look with some furniture.
