Maelle and I bundled up to take a loonnngggg nature walk today! We explored Majors Park, and can’t wait to do it again when the weather changes. It was bright and sunny, but verrrryyy cold.
Majors Park is in the village of East Aurora and walkable from our house. It’s pretty basic–just a boardwalk with some opportunities to hop down and explore near a creek–but it made for a great way to get some time outside and sunshine.
That evening, we joined our friends for a fish fry at the American Legion. It’s a minor (ok, MAJOR) miracle EVERYONE is looking (and smiling!) in this photo! We try to hit up the legion for at least one fish fry each lenten season.
Afterward, the kids checked out the hardware on the grounds. We love supporting our legion!
