Andrew is on an extended trip for work, so the girls are going to have some fun!
First, I bought a plant! I’ve been wanting a fiddle-leaf fig for awhile now, and when I saw my neighbor bringing one into her house recently, I decided it was time. Of course we also had to pick up a succulent in a ceramic unicorn planter for Maelle, as well.
Second, I bought a tree! OK, it’s a fake tree. And it’s not even December. But I thought a white tree with lights and colorful ornaments would be perfect for Maelle’s play room. Also, doesn’t the fig look fantastic in the corner?
We also started watching Christmas movies… Tonight’s showing was The Grinch. Andrew’s kind of a stickler for waiting to do Christmas until after Thanksgiving, as was I. NO MORE.
Meanwhile, Andrew was living his best life testing weapons in the desert!
