Welcome!  I’m glad you decided to check out my site.

I’ve been mulling over what I’d write in my first post for awhile now.  I realize I’m probably way over-thinking much of this, but I can’t help it.

Anyway…  I’ll start with just a little background.  I’d been thinking about starting a blog for some time now.  Everyone seems to be doing it (NOT that that’s ever a good reason to do something, but I digress).  I’d followed just a few blogs for awhile now and every time I read a post I thought to myself, “I could do this.”  I’d get excited, be a click away from starting a blog, and then fear I didn’t have anything “original” to say.  What was I going to write that someone hadn’t yet?

And then I realized it didn’t matter if I didn’t write anything “original.”  I wanted to start a blog.  But it wasn’t until Andrew came up with “The Frozen Pineapple” that I really got excited.  “Pineapple” because I like them and “frozen” because we were praying/thinking about moving to western New York.  So, I figured I’d wait and see if we were going to move, and then use the blog to chronicle our move and stay in touch with friends.

Well, we’re moving (yay!) so here goes!
