the best hair ties are made from phone cords

Last week, I shared how much I’m loving my new shampoo and conditioner from 2-Minute Club.  Since my hair is long enough for a ponytail now–such a new feeling (!!!)–I’ve been OBSESSED with Teleties, hair ties I found at one of our boutiques here in East Aurora.

I was first introduced to ‘spiral’ ties this summer while Andrew and I were in the Netherlands.  I picked up a hot pink set at one of their local ‘Target-type’ stores and promptly fell in love.  I couldn’t believe how well they worked!  I even wore one to the gym for a HIIT workout and my hair stayed put.

Once I returned home to New York, I spied a clear bin of Teleties at Beulah’s and picked up the set of Ice Mint large bands.  In the interim, during multiple trips to Beulah’s or the Toy Loft (where they also carry Teleties), I’ve picked up a couple more sets while purchasing these bands as gifts for just about every female in my life.

Nowadays, I pretty much wear my hair up in a messy ponytail (I’ve really embraced the ‘messy hair, don’t care’ look for work) just about every day.  (This inevitably happens each time my hair gets long enough to put up; I blame it on the fact that I’m not used to feeling hair on my neck.)  The ties also work well for high and low ponytails, too.

I think I might be due for another set, perhaps in coral!
